The family favourite. Rods, reels and tackle are all included — just turn up warm and we’ll do the rest. Mackerel in summer, codling on the inshore marks, and a skipper who loves putting first-timers on fish.
Full Day — 8 hours
Summer drifting over the wrecks, reefs and rough ground that made Whitby famous. This is the trip for the cod — and the ling, pollack and bass that live alongside them. Rod and reel hire available at £5; tackle and 12oz weights sold onboard.
Winter Uptiding
When the cod move inshore for winter we drop anchor and fish uptide — the classic North East winter method, and some of the best cod fishing of the year. Wrap up; the fishing’s worth it.
Whole Boat Charter
SeaSpray to yourselves for a flat rate — fishing club match, stag do, or a working crew’s day off. Up to eight anglers, any trip style, and David plans the marks around what you want to catch.
